The tequila featured in the quick review and ranking is none other than the King’s tequila!
King James to be exact!
Today, I’ll be finally covering Tequila Lobos 1707, their extra añejo expression to be exact.

Recommended Ways To Enjoy
I myself am going to recommend you always enjoy this expression neat!
I think this is too delicious and the amazing hints of dry Spanish wine is too delectable to mix with anything or to put on the rocks in my book.
All the TLA tasters agree as well!
This is a neat sipping tequila through and through.
Plus, I find it hard to want to pour a tequila I paid $160+ for over ice or to add anything to it!
Ranking- Top Shelf
Now, I’ll preference this ranking by saying this…
I received a bottle of this before this brand was everywhere and I have not had a pour of this tequila since it became so widely available.
To me though, this was absolutely delicious!
Great balance of agave, Spanish wine influence from the barrel, great pepper to it, all around great balance.
This expression was ranked in my top 15 extra añejo tequilas in the last ranking I posted and I still stand by it!
Taste Category- Well Balanced
As I stated above…
This is a great balance of fresh agave, Spanish wine influence from the barrel it’s aged in, black pepper, along with fresh water.
I’m not sure if the flavor profile has changed since the production increase, but if it hasn’t then I’m definitely still a huge fan!
This is a great option for those who are looking for a great tequila that covers multiple different flavor quadrants.
