Yes’ this is about Tequila Fortaleza…..

The new Pappy Van Winkle of the tequila world!

In particular, their blanco expression.

Mainly because that was this is the only bottle I was able to find out in the wild and in my price range….

I know everyone is talking about it and we all know how great it is.

But is it worth the price tag though….

The price of this bottle has completely skyrocketed from it’s original price point before the pandemic!

I have a photo of the prices from August 2020 of all 3 expression in which this bottle cost….

$54.99…..

Can we go back to that price please???

I paid $74 and some change for this bottle from Garfleid’s Beverage Warehouse.

Most places don’t have any Fortaleza readily available now!

When they do, you see the blanco listed at $100+ a bottle, which honestly….

I understand why!

I’ve had a multitude of other blancos at this price point and this one definitely beats a good amount of them in taste and quality.

I just simply am bummed that this bottle went from $54.99 to $100+ a bottle and went from readily available to being a rare bottle to get your hands on.

I was able to find it online at caskers.com for $111.99 before tax & shipping.

Recommended Ways To Enjoy

I’d honestly recommend this tequila be enjoyed in a multitude of fashions.

If….

It wasn’t for how expensive it is now and the scarcity of finding a replacement bottle!

For that reason alone, I highly recommend you savor every single drop by sipping it neat.

If you can find it at the original price point and it’s readily available though…

By all means, enjoy this is cocktails, on the rocks, and even in shots if you enjoy your tequila in said fashion!

So this is definitely one of the best blancos I’ve came across so far!

Extremely high quality ingredients.

Extremely clean taste from start to finish.

Very hard to find in today’s current market, especially at pre-covid prices!

Right now with the price being $100+ a bottle in most places, you need to savor every drop and be careful on who you share this bottle with.

The bottle looks great on a bar as well!

After you get past the amazing agave, the fresh natural spring water shines through!

This also features an amazing citrus and slight black pepper on the finish.
