– I was lucky enough to be gifted a bottle for my Flossmoor Tequila Bourbon & Spirits Club tasting and was told this expression goes for approximately $42 a bottle before tax & shipping.
– Found it online at ourwolfspirits.com for $44.99 before tax and shipping.
Recommended Ways To Enjoy
This is a great value sipping mezcal that’s very versatile to be enjoyed in any occasion.
The peaty/smokiness of this mezcal would make for an amazing mezcal old fashion or some other type of traditionally smokey bourbon cocktail reformulated for mezcal or tequila lovers.
The citrus of this expression also makes for a delicious full flavored sipper as well at a great price.
Highly recommend you try it neat then try it in your favorite cocktail to see which one you enjoy the most.
Group Ranking- Table Bottle
Most people liked this as a bottle to share with big groups of fans.
They thought it was a great bottle to introduce people to mezcal at an affordable price.
TLA Ranking- Table Bottle
Honestly, I couldn’t agree more on this ranking.
Quality mezcal that can be enjoyed by all types of drinkers.
at $42 a bottle….
Can’t beat that value for a mezcal that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
Group Taste Category- Agave Forward
The real category the group ranked this as is Smokey Mezcal.
But, there isn’t a taste category that fits that, so they went with agave forward.
They were getting a strong fresh agave as a whole once they got past the smokey taste.
TLA Taste Category- Pepper Bomb
So my real taste category doesn’t exist right now either for my TLA ranking…
That taste category would be Peaty Mezcal.
But, since it doesn’t…
I had to go with pepper bomb.
A delicious black pepper shined through as that major secondary flavor.
