Avion Reserva 44 Extra Añejo & Java Latte Cigar Pairing

This was the first top shelf bottle I posted about on TLA Instagram and I don’t regret it one bit!

I also don’t regret admitting that I love a flavored cigar every now and then.

I use to exclusively only smoke flavored cigars when I first started getting into appreciating a great glass of tequila with a quality smoke.

Obviously I’ve expanded past the flavored cigar phase now!

This XA was one of the first ones that made me fall in love with the aged expressions of tequila, especially the high end $100+ world of tequila.

It showed me just how beautiful and complex the world of tequila can be that went far beyond the limited experience I had at the time.

I’ve yet to add this bottle back to my bar, but definitely still a fan of Avion 44 Reserva and often recommend it as a quality high end bottle to others.

As far as the Java Latte stick….

I still like it but in moderation for sure! I’ve become more of a deep maduro guy now without any flavor caps of any kind.

My Recommended Ways Of Enjoyment

For me personally, the best and only way to enjoy this tequila is neat! You can have it neat with a cigar, a food pairing, but NEAT.

Some people may get fancy with a high end cocktail, which I’d be interested to try.

But it would have to be with some high quality ingredients and great presentation as well!

Wouldn’t say it’s in my top 25, but its still on my top shelf bar without a single thought otherwise.

Taste Of Tequila- Well Balanced

This tequila has a beautiful blend of flavors!

I love the pepper, agave, and vanilla blend this expression features.

Plus you have the whiskey influence from the barrel it’s aged in…..

Yeah, I’m definitely a fan!
